This artifact for the ePortfolio is a detailed technical instruction set project that I wrote about Git Version Control. Git is a program where software engineers can their own code to and from a repository which they can share with their team. The 6 photos above show 6 of the 10 steps of the full instruction set, which includes how to download Git as well. I created this for new programmers who want to learn how to manipulate Git, a necessary skill in software engineering.
Including a detailed technical document about Git Version Control in my ePortfolio is valuable for several reasons. It demonstrates my technical proficiency and relevancy to the software industry since Git is a fundamental tool in software development and is widely used in the industry for collaboration. It also shows my documentation skills because the instruction set requires creating a comprehensive technical document requires clear and concise writing skills. This artifact showcases my attention to detail and organization, and my documentation and communication skills.
